Anucha Apisarnthanarak, MD

Dr. Anucha Apisarnthanarak is currently an Associate Professor at Thammasat University Hospital and Chief of Infectious Diseases Division at the same institution. He also serves as Adjunct Visiting Professor at Division of Infectious Diseases, Washington University School of Medicine, USA.
Dr. Apisarnthanarak’s research focuses on infection control in resource-limited settings including control of MDR-pathogens, antimicrobial stewardship, epidemiology and control of emerging infectious diseases as well as outbreak investigation. Currently, Dr. Anucha has published more than 120 peer-review articles and more than 20 peer-review book chapters.
Dr. Apisarnthanarak has been a key committee member of many national and international societies including the SHEA Annual Meeting Planning Committee/Publication Committee since 2008, editorial board for Clinical Infectious Diseases and Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology journal since 2008, Thai National Nosocomial Infection Control Group, and Thai National Antimicrobial Resistant Surveillance Center.
